Sorry girls, turns out diamonds are a toker’s best friend.
Making waves in the cannabis industry, cannabis diamonds are relatively new to the scene. Cannabis experts create these diamonds using high-tech and labour-intensive processes to produce a product that is as potent as it is pretty.
HCFSE diamonds (high-cannabinoid full spectrum extract) will provide you with the purest, most refined form of cannabinoids extracted from the plant. Giving you a quick and hard-hit so you can enjoy all the benefits of cannabis without all the extras.
What Are Cannabis Diamonds?
Cannabis diamonds are the result of refining and isolating crystal structures from within “sauce”, a runny cannabis concentrate. These crystals are where all the major cannabinoids such as THCA and CBD are isolated.
The crystallized structure is formed from TCHA molecules binding together to create an item that resembles a precious gem, often amber in colour.
Refining diamonds from the concentrate allows for a product that contains only the good stuff and omits all the extras and by-products of the cannabis plant. Diamonds are refined from the already refined.
How Do I Use Cannabis Diamonds?
HCFSE diamonds concentrate the cannabinoid THCA, which is the acid that comes before THC. When exposed to heat, THCA will activate THC so as long as your method of ingestion involves heat, you can’t go too wrong.
The easiest way is to simply vaporize or dab the diamonds. Bear in mind though that most commercial bud is around 25% potency of TCH, concentrates 70% and diamonds almost 100%. This method can pack a serious punch.
Because of this, in addition to the price tag of this product, many prefer to use diamonds as a “supplement” sprinkled over their regular bud or hash.
First, you need to crush the diamonds to powder. These diamonds won’t do well in your grinder so a mortar and pestle will be the way to go. Then sprinkle over the powder in your usual joint or bong or extra “oomph” to your normal sesh.
Can I Make Cannabis Diamonds At Home?
The reason HCFSE diamonds on the market have such a hefty price tag is that the process in which they are made is time-consuming, labour intensive and requires a lot of specialized tech.
So unless you have a heap of time and money to invest, you probably won’t be able to cultivate 100% pure diamonds.
In saying that you can see how the process works and make some “sugar” at home using your cannabis resin. Leave your jar of resin out and untouched for a few weeks and the TCHA molecules will naturally start to join, forming tiny and rough diamonds, coined “sugar”. These will be very rudimentary diamonds at the very beginning of the process.
Sugar is so popular that many commercial cannabis manufacturers will “seed” their resin with THCA to encourage crystallization.
To get pure diamonds it’s best left to professionals. Look for this emerging product on the cannabis market and see for yourself what all the hype is about!
